Sabres vs. Capitals: Playoff Race: Post #1

With the playoff race coming to a closure, and playoff spots filling up, this clearly is a must win for both of these Eastern Conference teams.
A win for the Capitals will advance them to first place in the conference, supplanting the Philidelphia Flyers, while a victory for the playoff-hungry Sabres, and losses for the Hurricanes, will give them a temporary spot in the playoffs.
Along with all that, injuries are a weakness for both teams tonight. Among the list of injured Sabres players is star goalie Ryan Miller, who is out with a huge deep bruise on the shoulder and chest.
Other injured players, or ones who are not in the lineup, for both teams include:

Washington
John Erskine (Replacement: Sean Collins)
Mike Green
Tom Poti
Dennis Wideman
Buffalo
Ryan Miller (Replacement: Jhonas Enroth)
Jordan Leopold
Derek Roy
Patrick Kaleta
Mike Grier
Jochen Hecht
With all of these men who are not in their team's line up, I can assure you that this will be quite a game.
In conclusion, I wish both competing teams well in tonight's riveting match-up. And, speaking as a true Caps fan, let's hope the Caps can pull off a win tonight in what is to be expected a great game.
